DESCRIPTION:Running Thu 13 Nov 5:30pm to Sun 16 Nov 5pm\, GEAR’d Adelaide is an annual multi-day event hosted by Adelaide Leather & Fetish Inc (AL&F). Established in 2017\, GEAR’d Adelaide proudly showcases the unique and diverse community that has grown from the original roots of what was once known as Adelaide Leathermen. \nOver the weekend\, GEAR’d Adelaide will once again proudly showcase the Adelaide Leather Title competitions where we hope to find our next Mr and Ms Adelaide Leather along with the Adelaide Rubber Title which was the first non-gendered title of its kind in the southern hemisphere. All your favourite events return with our annual VIP Party\, Provocateur Fetish: Through the Photographer’s Lens Exhibition\, EVOLUTION BDSM Dance Party\, Fetish Market Hall and Sunday Recovery Social. 2025 also sees the introduction of the Fetish Runway! This year’s event is one not to be forgotten and you certainly won’t want to miss it!

SUMMARY:The Big 5-O: Activism Then and Now
DESCRIPTION:In 1975 South Australia became the first state to decriminalise homosexuality. The Big Five-O brings together elders who’ll address the political context in which decriminalisation occurred and the role of feminist\, anti-war\, First Nations\, and trade union activism in shaping that landscape. The panel discussion will be followed by a light lunch and then a hands-on ‘crafting activism’ session where you’ll get to ‘paint a patch’ inspired by the stories shared. This event is supported by a Grant for Seniors from the Office of Ageing Well.
