DESCRIPTION:Register and join us for the opening of this Pride Month exhibition bringing together multicultural perspectives on sexual health\, identity\, and lived experience. \nIn this exhibition\, collage becomes a quiet yet powerful act of decolonising—reimagining dominant narratives and creating space for stories that have too often been overlooked or silenced. \nEach work brings together elements of culture\, memory\, migration\, identity\, and care\, transforming them into new forms that centre voice\, agency\, self-determination\, and community. \nWe honour the incredible work of these participating artists\, whose pieces reflect resilience\, creativity\, and the strength of diverse cultural perspectives. \nFrom explorations of intimacy and respect\, to reclaiming body autonomy\, identity\, and belonging\, their artworks invite us to listen deeply\, reflect thoughtfully\, and envision more inclusive futures. \nTogether\, they remind us that healing is not linear—but through creativity\, connection\, and storytelling\, we can build spaces where our bodies\, histories\, and voices are respected and held. \nIn collaboration with the Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council – AGMC\, the exhibition will remain on display throughout June and can be viewed by appointment during weekdays between 10am and 4pm by calling 0406 874 966.

DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to raise awareness and honour HIV long term survivors. \nA HIV long-term survivor is someone who has lived with HIV for over 25 years and includes a diverse group of people\, those who acquired the virus before the introduction of Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy\, those who may have been born with the virus or acquired it as young people. \nHIV Long Term Survivors are often overlooked\, and the day is an opportunity to reflect and raise awareness of issues\, needs and the stories they carry. \nWe encourage all HIV LTS to attend and connect with their peers\, enjoy a panel discussion\, some food and fun.

Our theme for 2025 is ‘Flower Power’ – inspired by the global protest movements of the 1960s and 70s\, where flowers became symbols of radical love. \nJoin us in the Garden’s spectacular Bicentennial Conservatory for a runway show featuring fabulous botanic-inspired costumes\, explore the exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year for free\, and mingle with the makers and models at our Living Museum after the runway. DESCRIPTION:In 1975 South Australia became the first state to decriminalise homosexuality. The Big Five-O brings together elders who’ll address the political context in which decriminalisation occurred and the role of feminist\, anti-war\, First Nations\, and trade union activism in shaping that landscape. The panel discussion will be followed by a light lunch and then a hands-on ‘crafting activism’ session where you’ll get to ‘paint a patch’ inspired by the stories shared. This event is supported by a Grant for Seniors from the Office of Ageing Well.
